Compare quotes for the same product and finished packaging. Specify whether the charge is per sellable unit, component, completed set, carton, order or handling step. For a kit, list the component quantities and the finished-set label so assembly work can be priced consistently.
Separate labor, packaging materials, storage, rework, outbound handling and transport. Record any minimum charge and the approval needed for work outside the original scope.
Agree when warehouse processing starts: for example, after the required stock, approved instructions and label files are available. Identify waiting time for supplier replacements or your release decision. Carrier transit and marketplace receiving are separate stages, with their own estimates and dependencies.
The work included, charging basis, materials or transport charged separately, receiving instructions, and estimated schedule. We also agree who approves changes if the physical stock differs from the brief.
Rates, minimum volumes, materials, and destination handling are confirmed in your individual quote. A new product or changed shipment plan may need a revised scope.
Prepare the details for your quote
For mixed or incorrectly labeled stock, confirm identification, counting, old-label removal, new labels, replacement packaging, storage and onward delivery separately. Agree who authorizes extra work and how charges are recorded.
Review the prep and rework quote checklist
Provide packed dimensions in cm, gross weight in kg, destination country and typical order contents. Ask for the route’s chargeable-weight method, rounding, minimums and applicable surcharges. Compare the same basket and packing specification across offers.
Confirm the billing unit and trigger for receiving, counting, stock entry, rework, storage and each release. Ask how minimum charges and repeated handling apply, and how extra work connects to your approval record.
Review the work-event and invoice checklist · Connect staged releases to stock records
Product and packaging purchase quantities are different from a fulfillment service minimum or monthly minimum charge. Confirm which usage fees count toward a minimum, which are additional, and what remains chargeable in a month without orders.
Match each charge to the agreed rate, billing unit, actual quantity and approved changes. For revised freight or extra work, request the measurement or work evidence and keep unresolved items linked to any later correction.
Use the same inputs when comparing fulfillment plans.
List SKUs, quantities, suppliers and the checks or preparation each product needs.
Prepare your shipment briefCombine packed-carton groups to calculate total cartons, CBM and gross weight.

Review the quote structureUse the outside dimensions and gross weight of each packed carton. Put cartons with the same dimensions and weight in one group. Add a separate group for each different carton type, up to 10 groups. Count physical cartons once, even when they contain several SKUs. Group volume is length × width × height × cartons ÷ 1,000,000, in cubic metres (CBM). Add all groups for the shipment total. Gross weight includes products and packaging. This is a measurement aid; freight rates, chargeable weight, and storage charges depend on the agreed route and service.
